The Ozzy Shop jewelry is thoughtfully designed and carefully handmade by yours truly - I have always loved working with my hands and dreamt of the day I could share my art with others. I'm fueled by creating as find inspiration in fine art & nature, as well as the materials and process itself. each of my pieces are designed with intention, inspired by unique textiles and textures and organic elements that highlight their handmade design. Both minimal and bold - Ozzy Shop pieces could be worn as an everyday statement, or dressed up for special occasions.

my process for designing and making Ozzy Shop jewelry
I sketch out my design idea either on paper or on my ipad and once I'm happy with the finished draft, I gather my supplies.
The design
After baking, I then secure my jewelry findings. I secure all earring backs by baking the pieces yet again to ensure the quality of my pieces and to extend the life of your jewelry.

What I really mean by "handmade w/ love"
I prep my materials by conditioning the clay I work with and creating my slab. I use custom made cutters or cut my shapes out by hand (which is a very tedious process)
The materials
I then hand sand and polish each and every individual piece of baked clay to soften any edges and polish the designs. I soak each piece in soapy water and attach my remaining findings.

Once my design is all cut, I bake my pieces to cure and bond the chemical compounds and turn my work into a solid piece.

Lastly I take photos of the designs and share them here in my little corner of the internet and you get to shop thoughtfully curated, and uniquely handmade jewelry!
